Does removing a TikTok repost notify the creator?
Short answer: no notification is sent. Here’s what the creator can and can’t see when you undo a repost.
No. TikTok doesn’t send the creator a notification when you remove a repost. The repost simply disappears from your profile and from your followers’ feeds.
What the creator sees
When you repost, the creator may see it among their activity. When you remove it, nothing new is sent - the repost just stops existing. A creator who checks closely might notice a repost count drop, but there’s no alert pointing at you.
What your followers see
Removed reposts stop appearing in your followers’ feeds and vanish from your Reposts tab.
RepostZero removes reposts for you, at a safe pace, on your iPhone.
Bulk removal changes nothing here
Removing one repost or five hundred works the same way: each is an individual “Remove repost” action, with no notification attached.
Questions people ask
Will the video disappear for everyone?
No. Only your repost goes away; the original video is untouched.
